Red Velvet Cheesecake Swirl Brownies
Hi my loves!! Thank you again for checking out my website and my YouTube video. I want to share this amazing recipe with you and it’s super easy to make. Originally, I wanted to share this recipe before Valentine's Day, but it's never too late to get creative and surprise your loved one with these impressive brownies.
I made these brownies for my husband on Valentine's day and he loved it. Brownie points for being an excellent wifey-(no pun intended). My husband brought these delicious brownies to his job and his coworkers ate all the brownies on the platter within seconds. Even the crumbs. Hahaha.
So, enough propaganda about my brownies and let’s get baking!
RED VELVET CHEESECAKE SWIRL BROWNIES RECIPE:
🎂 Yields: 9-12 Brownies
⏰ Prep Time: 30 Minutes
⏰ Cook Time: 30 Minutes
Ingredients:
- 1-Stick of Unsalted Butter
- 1/2 tsp of Distilled White Vinegar
- 1 tsp of Vanilla Extract
- 2 Eggs
- 4 Tbsp of Cocoa Powder
- 1 1/4 Cup of White Sugar
- 3/4 Cup of White Flour
- Pinch of Salt
- Red Food Coloring
Cream Cheese Frosting Ingredients:
- 8 oz of Cream Cheese-{leave out at room temperature for 1 hour before baking}
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp of Vanilla Extract
- 3-1/2 Tbsp of Sugar
Directions:
1.) Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2.) Grease an 8x8 square shaped baking pan with nonstick cooking spray ( i use coconut oil cooking spray). Then size out and cut parchment paper and lay at bottom and sides of the pan. Parchment paper helps tremendously so brownies don't stick to the baking pan. A cool trick I recommend is using chip clips to hold down the parchment paper until we pour in the batter. Make sure to remove clips before putting the pan in the oven.

3) Using a standing mixer or a handheld mixer-in a bowl mix the butter, sugar, and eggs until creamy. Then mix in the cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Once all ingredients are well combined add the vinegar and gradually add the red food coloring. Add more red food coloring for a brighter red batter. Save some of the red batter and put aside. We will use it to make the swirls on the cream cheese frosting. Pour the remaining red batter into the greased pan.
4) To make the cream cheese frosting use a standing mixer or a handheld mixer- cream together the cream cheese, sugar, egg and vanilla extract. Make sure it's mixed very well so there are no more lumps left. Once done, pour the cream cheese frosting on top of the red batter. With a spoon drop the remaining red batter in several spots on top of the cream cheese frosting. Using a toothpick, swirl the red batter into the cream cheese frosting.

5) Remove chip clips. Put pan inside oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until fully cooked. Make sure brownies are cooled completely before cutting in squares. Serve on a platter and enjoy!!
